History: The Split Window version, produced only in 1963, is particularly sought-after for its distinctive double-glazed rear window, which quickly made this model a collector's item. The current owner has owned this Corvette since 1990, importing it directly from the USA. Shortly after its acquisition, a full restoration was carried out in the 90s, involving a complete stripping down of the vehicle. This thorough restoration process restored this Corvette to its original glory, both aesthetically and mechanically, while preserving its authenticity.

General: This example is in very good overall condition.

Exterior: The composite bodywork of this Chevrolet Corvette C2 Split Window is in very good condition, reflecting the care taken during its restoration. The exterior paint, in its original 941A Sebring Grey, is tightly stretched, with no signs of fading, offering a beautiful shine. The seals and exterior chrome are also in very good condition, with no major signs of wear, as are the retractable headlight lenses, wheels and mirrors. All doors, hoods and trunks are in perfect working order.





Interior: The interior reflects a concern for preservation and care. The black leatherette upholstery is in very good condition, as is the door trim, providing an elegant and perfectly preserved ensemble. Black carpets and rugs are also well maintained. The dashboard is immaculate, with chrome and interior plastics retaining their original lustre. The instrument cluster and controls are in excellent condition and fully operational. Original equipment includes spare wheel, jack, tools, car radio, clock, antenna and Hurst shifter.

Mechanical: This Corvette's V8 is in excellent visual condition, with good sealing confirmed by a static test and a ground check. The engine compartment is also in excellent condition. The braking system of this Chevrolet Corvette C2 Split Window is equipped with drum brakes on all four wheels, which are in very good condition and offer a good seal. The transmission also works very well. Note that this example has power steering.
