History
In 1980, at the Paris Motor Show, Citroën launched the limited edition 2CV 6 Charleston, with 8,000 units released onto the market. Citroën quickly decided to add it to its standard range in 1981, where it remained until production ended in 1990. This particular model was delivered new in May 1982. In 2003, the father of the current owner purchased it. In 2024, the owner decided to restore it and return it to its former glory. The parts came from 2CV Passion. Recent invoices and the MOT certificate (02/2026) can be viewed in the "Documents" section.

General state
This 2CV is in excellent condition. The car is in its original configuration, two-tone Delage red and black. The paintwork looks good overall. It has been recently redone. The exterior fittings are in perfect condition (lights, bumpers, windows, chrome, etc.). The soft top was replaced last year and is in mint condition.
The interior is in perfect condition. The upholstery, typical of the Charleston with its diamond-pattern fabric, is new and still protected. The steering wheel and gear knob are also new. The dashboard instruments are in perfect working order.
Mechanically, the car is in very good working order. The owner informs us that the gearbox and engine were rebuilt in 2021 (connecting rods, piston rings, pistons and liners), and then last year the valves were adjusted to optimise performance. It starts very well, idles smoothly and revs up correctly. The brakes were rebuilt last year. A new galvanised chassis has been installed.
