This Ferrari 250 GTE (chassis #3791 and engine #3791) was delivered new in September 1962 in France to its first owner, Monsieur Vaysse, who kept the car for a long time. The second owner bought the car in 2000 and the current owner, still French, has owned the car for 2 years.
States
General state
The car has a beautiful patina and it has become rare to find a 250 GTE in such authentic condition, while also being very sound: sound chassis/underpinnings, no corrosion, original glazing, original lights and chrome, etc..
This 250 GTE has its original Borrani wheels, all its on-board accessories and all the instruments are functional. Engine compression is very good, the engine/gearbox unit is tight and the car runs smoothly.
The car has been meticulously maintained (total mechanical restoration 20 years ago, regular servicing since) and is coming out of a major sale:
- High engine and revised ignition,
- New tyres,
- New brakes,
- General overhaul with engine and gearbox oil change,
- Running gear,
- New hoses,
- Consumables up to date,
- CT passed for sale.
