History

The Maserati Indy is the 2+2 coupé that replaced the Maserati Sebring in the early 1970s. Its name, “Indy”, pays tribute to Maserati’s victories at the Indianapolis 500, notably in 1939 and 1940.

🚘 The car is finished in an elegant navy blue. The paintwork was repainted in 2009 following a complete stripping. The paint is smooth and in good overall condition. The alignment and fit are correct. The pop-up headlights are in working order.

The interior underwent a complete refurbishment in 2009 (trims, panelling, upholstery, etc.). Thirteen hides of leather were required! The dashboard trim is in blue Alcantara, matching the exterior colour. The dials, gauges and pressure gauges are in perfect working order.

🔧 The V8 starts easily and revs well. Gear changes are smooth and pleasant. Road holding is good. The underbody is sound.
