History
This Maserati Khamsin Series 1 is one of 29 examples delivered new in France. It was registered in October 1975 and had only one owner until 2014, when the current owner acquired it. Its history is therefore crystal clear from the outset and the car comes with its file (invoices, red bar, Maserati certificate, original logbooks, etc.). Desirable for its elegant configuration, it also stands out for being one of the first models produced, more aesthetically pleasing than later models.

General state
The car is in superb overall condition. Its handling is surprisingly effective, embodying a much sharper and more visceral vision than the Ghibli SS, often perceived as heavier and less incisive. The five-speed ZF gearbox operates with precision and the sound is very pleasant.
Between 2015 and 2016, the owner had the upper engine rebuilt by a renowned specialist. At the same time, the cylinder heads, valves and valve seats were rectified, and the clutch and timing chains were replaced. The carburettors were synchronised and the exhaust system was completely rebuilt. In 2018, the hydraulic brake and steering systems were completely rebuilt. The car has just undergone servicing for sale (oil change, spark plugs, hydraulic system check, ignition and carburettor adjustment).
The original Connolly leather has aged beautifully. The decision was made to preserve the patina on the dashboard. The beige carpets with brown piping are in perfect condition. All the instruments are present and functional.
Its rigorous chassis, unusually precise hydraulic steering and natural balance make it a very precise car for a 1970s GT. A Maserati for connoisseurs, demanding, charismatic and now highly sought-after.
