Maserati Indy 4.9 1973 / Manual

History: This Maserati Indy was delivered in France. The current owner purchased it in 2009 from a collector in south-east France. He had extensive mechanical restoration work carried out.

Condition :

General: This example is in good overall condition.

Exterior: The bodywork is generally in good condition, with some minor paintwork damage. The retractable headlights work well. The chrome, wheels, mirrors and other exterior components are in excellent condition. The windscreen has been replaced.

Interior: The interior is very well preserved. The leather has a nice patina and the seats offer good support. On a positive note, all the on-board equipment is functional.

Powertrain: The upper engine has benefited from extensive work. The mechanics work satisfactorily. The gearbox is pleasant. Roadholding is reassuring.

Underpinnings: Structurally, the car is sound. There are a few traces of surface oxidation on the floorboards. These have not been repainted so that the buyer can see their true condition, without camouflage.

The left and right handles have been rebuilt from the original. They are made from a solid block of aeronautical aluminium.
