History
This Swiss Maserati 3500 GT with matching numbers (#AM101.1632) was delivered new to Geneva where it was registered on 20 July 1961. Remaining in Switzerland until 2020, this 3500 GT had only 3 owners and had been in the family of the previous owner since 1980.
Conditions
This car was fully restored in Switzerland in 2010:
- its Touring bodywork (#12058) is still in its original colour - Sera Blue - and has no defects. The new paintwork is tight and flawless.
- the interior is just as good, having also been redone a few years ago with burgundy Connolly leather upholstery, as originally fitted, which shows a very slight patina,
- the luggage compartment has been partially rebuilt, retaining as much of the original material as possible, and supplemented with identical material in the parts that could not be retained,
- The engine was also completely reconditioned during the restoration. The car has covered no more than 20,000 km since its restoration.
- The car's bodywork, underpinnings and floorboards are sound and free from defects or deformation.
The car has been in France since 2020 and has been maintained in superb overall condition. AS Classic Engineering took care of the car's maintenance and carried out mechanical work on the car (€14,000):
- Gearbox dismantled, opened and completely rebuilt,
- Rear and front suspension silentblocks replaced,
- Complete adjustment of the running gear,
- Complete carburettor adjustment,
- Electrical circuit and ignition brought up to standard,
- Replacement of locks and lighting,
- New consumables
The car has been serviced for sale (engine oil change, new spark plugs, new battery, etc.) and is in superb overall condition. A CT will be done for the sale.
