History
This Maserati Mistral was delivered new in 1967 to Bologna, Italy. The current owner imported it to France in 2016 (purchase invoice on file). He then undertook a complete restoration. Every part of this car has been replaced or restored. This model has a comprehensive file of invoices detailing the various restoration works carried out.

General state
This car is in excellent condition. The bodywork is in very good condition and free of corrosion. The alignment and adjustments are good. The grey paintwork is smooth and has a beautiful depth. The headlight lenses have no particular defects. The chrome trim has a beautiful shine. The rims are well preserved. This rim model is optional and is very rare on the market. There are only about ten examples equipped with these rims. Inside, the black leather seats are new. The dashboard has no defects. The headliner is taut. The carpets and floor mats are in very good condition. The wooden steering wheel is very well preserved. The dashboard instruments are functional.
The 3.7-litre 6-cylinder engine starts normally and revs well. The original engine was completely rebuilt during the restoration by a former Maserati mechanic. Since its restoration, the car has only done 1,000 kilometres. The Lucas fuel injection system has been replaced by three Weber twin-barrel carburettors. The clutch is in very good condition. The 5-speed ZF manual gearbox was replaced after the restoration work. Gear changes are precise and smooth. The car handles excellently.
