Produced in just 369 examples, the Maserati Shamal takes its design cues from the Maserati Biturbo, the brainchild of Marcello Gandini. However, many things were different: twin headlamps, an aggressive front bumper and, of course, those asymmetrical rear wheel arches.
This Shamal left the factory in 1991 and arrived in France in 2003, when the current owner acquired it. So it's been in the same hands for over 20 years! The current owner is a Maserati specialist, so the car has been well looked after. It is important to note that the car has matching numbers.

The car is very well preserved. The paintwork is original and in very good overall condition, with a bright Maserati red. The wheels and headlights are also in excellent condition.

The interior is also very well preserved. The leather bucket seats are in excellent condition. The leathers are tight and without the slightest tear. The carpets and headlining are in very good condition. The leather dashboard and wooden centre console are both in excellent condition. From the outset, the car is fitted with the pilot-controlled suspension developed by Koni for Maserati. Combined with its twin-turbo V8, this makes it a true sports car.
