History: In 1972, this Mercedes was delivered in California, in Los Angeles. It was in 2020 that it was imported to France and its current owner acquired it.

Condition :
General: This 350SL is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition.

Exterior: Externally, the car presents very well. The bodywork shows no signs of deformation and the paintwork is in very good condition. It should be noted that the car has been repainted in its original colour. Being American, the bumpers did not meet European homologation rules, so they were replaced by others that did. The soft top looks like new, with no holes or tears. It is very well tensioned. The hardtop will of course be supplied with the car and is in excellent condition. The wheels, headlights and chrome are all in very good condition.

Interior: The interior is entirely original and very well preserved. It features superb green leather upholstery. The leathers are in excellent condition, as are the carpets. The dashboard looks great and the instruments are functional.



Mechanicals: The V8 is in very good working order. It's torquey and at ease at high revs. The auto gearbox makes driving smooth and easy, perfect for this type of convertible. The braking system has recently been overhauled, making the car safer to drive, and the tyres have been replaced. As a result, the car handles very well on the road.

Underbody : The car's underpinnings are sound and free from corrosion. Photos are available on request.
