Mercedes-benz 350 Sl R107 1973 / Automatic

The SL (Sport Leicht) range was launched by Mercedes in 1954 with the sublime 300 SL (W198). Since then, the German firm has continued to produce different versions of this model. It was a commercial success, particularly in the United States.

Our example is a 3.5-litre R107 from 1973. The car is in good condition and is fitted with a hardtop.

General: Like many Mercedes Benz of the period, this car is well preserved for its age and mileage.

Exterior: The paintwork is bright and has no major defects. The chrome is in good condition. AMG wheels have been fitted by the owner. However, the owner indicates that the original wheels will be supplied for the sale. The headlights are in good condition. This Mercedes is fitted with a hardtop, which can be seen on the photos in the file. There are no holes or tears in the soft top.

Interior: The interior is in good condition. The original leather seats show a nice patina but have no holes or tears. The light-coloured headlining needs cleaning to restore its appearance. All the on-board instrumentation is functional. (to be confirmed). The carpets and floor mats are in good condition. The leather door panels look good. The dashboard is not cracked.

Mechanical: The engine starts and runs normally. The gearbox and other transmission components also work normally. Suspension and braking systems are good.
