History
This 250 SL was delivered new in the United States in 1967, as the original service booklet attests. Its current owner acquired it in 2014, just after it was imported into France.
Extremely rare among these cars, this example is original and has never been modified or restored. The car is 'matching numbers' not only for its engine, but also for its bodywork elements such as the bonnet, soft top cover and hard top, all bearing the number 622. The upholstery is also entirely original. The car is in excellent working order, suitable for daily use over all distances. Maintenance has always been carried out by specialists in the brand and is up to date, the last having been carried out in October 2024.

Conditions
This Pagoda is in a very good state of preservation.
Exterior
The bodywork is in good condition, with paintwork carefully redone in its original colour. The 14-inch wheels (dated 1967) are in very good condition. The chrome, headlights and mirrors are in good condition. The car also has its original hard top in very good condition.
Interior
The interior is very well preserved. The original upholstery is in excellent condition, and there are no tears in the MB Tex seats. The roof lining is in very good condition. The dashboard is in perfect condition, and all the instrumentation is functional, including the clock and glovebox lighting. The car is equipped with power steering, an optional feature of the period, green tinted windows, a functional car radio and trim strips for the hard top.
Mechanical
The mechanics are in perfect working order thanks to rigorous maintenance. The entire cooling system, including the radiator, water pump and disengageable fan, was replaced in December 2023. The car is fitted with 4 disc brakes, 4 new gas-charged shock absorbers, an engine oil cooler and a 7-bearing crankshaft instead of 5, offering 10% more torque. The engine and gearbox deliver smooth power and safe handling on the road.
Underpinnings: The car's underpinnings are sound and corrosion-free. Photos are available on request.
