History
The Porsche 911 2.2 E, produced between 1969 and 1971, marked a key milestone in the model’s evolution by replacing the original 2.0-litre engine with a more torquey 2,195 cc version.
Positioned in the range between the sensible "T" and the radical "S", the E version (for Einspritzung) is distinguished by its Bosch mechanical fuel injection system, delivering a balanced output of 155 horsepower.
The 1971 model represents the culmination of this engine variant, just before the switch to the 2.4-litre unit, and benefits from improved anti-corrosion treatments on the chassis.
It is renowned for its versatility in everyday use and its agility, thanks to its modest weight of around 1,020 kg.
This particular car was delivered new in February 1971.
The car arrived in France in 1991. The current owner purchased it in 2018.

This 911 E is in very good overall condition.
🚘 The bodywork is in very good condition and shows no signs of rust. The blue paintwork has a lovely sheen and is well-applied. There are a few minor imperfections around the bodywork. The alloy wheels are in excellent condition, as are the headlight lenses.
Inside, the black seats are in very good condition. The dashboard is free from defects. The steering wheel shows slight signs of wear. The headlining is taut. The interior fittings are in working order.
⚙️The Flat-6 engine starts without a hitch and revs well. The 5-speed manual gearbox operates normally; it is smooth and pleasant to use. The handling is very good.
