History
The Porsche 911 2.2 E, produced between 1969 and 1971, marked a key stage in the evolution of the line by replacing the original 2.0-litre engine with a more powerful 2,195 cc version.
Positioned in the range between the conservative "T" and the radical "S", the E version (for Einspritzung) stands out with its Bosch mechanical injection system, offering a balanced power output of 155 horsepower.
The 1971 model represents the culmination of this engine, just before the transition to the 2.4-litre block, and benefits from improved anti-corrosion treatment on the chassis. It is renowned for its flexibility in everyday use and its agility thanks to its modest weight of around 1,020 kg.
This example was delivered new in February 1971. The car arrived in France in 1991. The current owner purchased it in 2018.

After spending weekends in a camper van at automotive events with his grandparents and Sunday mornings watching Automoto with his father, Johan decided to turn his passion into a career. He began as an automotive technician before training in sales to join the CarJager universe. Probably born in the wrong era, he dreams as much of the British elegance of a Jaguar E-Type as of the emotion of a 1960s Ferrari. Today, he assists both sellers and buyers in bringing their projects to life, working with cars from the 1950s to the present day.
