This Mercedes-Benz, from the iconic R107 series, was put on the road in 1975. It was imported from the United States (California) in 2018. The current owner acquired it in 2021 and since then it has benefited from regular maintenance (+€4,000 in invoices). It drives perfectly and offers all the charm and comfort of a classic convertible.
A quality appraisal was carried out in 2021, and the report can be seen in the "Documents" section. It valued the car at €24,500.
This convertible is in beautiful condition.
The bodywork has been completely repainted in its original grey colour by the previous owner, and is sound and looks very good today. The blue soft top and hardtop (body colour) are in very good condition.
The upholstery, carpeting and equipment are original and in generally good condition. We note that the dashboard has a crack, visible in the "Imperfection" folder.
The 4.5-litre V8 engine with automatic gearbox and power steering offers a pleasant driving experience with plenty of power and smoothness.
The underpinnings are sound, as evidenced by the photos in the file or in the expert report, and there is no mention of corrosion in the technical inspection.
Tyre wear: In 2021, the expert noted 10% wear on both tyres. Since then, the car has been driven around 12,000 km for pleasure driving. No signs of abnormal wear were indicated on the MOT.
